Support during cancer treatment

Supportive integrative care alongside your oncology treatment, focused on managing symptoms and quality of life.

General information only. This page is general information, not personal health advice. Everyone's health is different, so talk to Reece or your own health practitioner before you make changes.

Supportive care alongside your cancer treatment

Reece offers supportive, complementary care for people having or recovering from cancer treatment. It's support for symptoms and quality of life only. It isn't a treatment for cancer and doesn't replace oncology care. Reece works alongside your oncology team, never in place of it.

Important: Reece offers supportive care only. He doesn't diagnose or treat cancer, and his care isn't a substitute for your cancer treatment. Keep up the care your oncologist recommends, and tell your oncology team about any acupuncture, herbs or supplements before you start, so they can check they suit your treatment.

Support during cancer treatment

  • Tiredness during and after treatment. Acupuncture may help with tiredness after treatment.
  • Nausea and vomiting from chemotherapy, where acupuncture may help, and changes in appetite
  • Sleep disruption
  • General wellbeing and quality of life during treatment
  • Eating well during and after treatment, alongside your oncology dietitian

Reece offers acupuncture and diet and lifestyle advice as supportive care during cancer treatment, with your oncology team kept in the loop. If you're thinking about herbs or supplements, please talk to your oncology team first, because some can interact with cancer treatment.

"My role in cancer care is supportive only. I aim to help you feel as well as you can during a hard time, always alongside your oncology team." (Reece)
