Stress, mood and sleep
Integrative support for mood, anxiety and stress that considers nutritional and genetic factors, alongside your existing mental health care.
An integrative approach to mood and mental wellbeing
Mental health is shaped by more than psychology. Sleep, nutrition, gut health, thyroid function and genetic factors can all play a part in mood, anxiety and how you cope with stress. Low mood is influenced by many genes, each with a small effect, and one people often ask about is MTHFR. Research reviews have found that a common variant, C677T, is linked to a slightly higher risk of depression, mainly in studies of Asian populations. In people of European background the link is weak or absent. [1][2] So a result like this describes a small difference in risk across large groups. It can't tell you why you feel the way you do, and on its own it isn't a reason to take supplements. Reece takes the time to look at the whole picture with you, and offers integrative support alongside your GP, psychologist or psychiatrist, never in place of them.
