Reece's first consultations run for up to three hours. That's time to go through your health history, review your pathology results in plain words and examine you thoroughly, from both a western and a Chinese medicine point of view. You leave with a clear explanation and a plan you can start on.
Who Reece sees
Reece sees adults, often over 40, with long-standing health concerns who want time and a clear explanation. He has a particular interest in perimenopause and women's hormonal health, thyroid health, ongoing tiredness, gut health, skin, men's health, muscle and joint pain, and stress and mood. He also offers support during cancer treatment. He works alongside your GP and specialists.

What Reece offers
- A Comprehensive Initial Consultation: up to 180 minutes, face to face, $590
- An acupuncture-only consultation for straightforward muscle and joint problems: up to 90 minutes, $210
- Follow-ups, usually face to face, or by phone for some existing patients
- Acupuncture in several styles, and laser acupuncture (photobiomodulation) without needles
- Classical Chinese herbal medicine
- Diet and lifestyle advice with a functional medicine approach
- Moxibustion
Medicare doesn't cover these consultations. Private health fund rebates may apply for acupuncture.
Hours
Monday to Friday, 10am to 7pm, by appointment only. Follow-ups are usually face to face, and for some existing patients and conditions Reece can follow up by phone.

In Burleigh Heads on the southern Gold Coast, close to Burleigh Waters, Miami, Palm Beach, Varsity Lakes and Robina. People also come from across the Gold Coast, the Tweed Shire and southern Brisbane.

It's on West Burleigh Road, between Stockland Burleigh Waters shopping centre and James Street, Burleigh Heads, next to MC's Sandwich House.
Parking is free onsite, including disability parking, in the ground-floor car park or the basement car park. The clinic is on the ground floor, with an accessibility ramp. From the basement car park, take the lift up to the ground floor. The clinic entrance is just in front of the lift. If you arrive a little early, the waiting area is there for you to sit and settle in before your appointment.
